Why is it that when I want to sit down and snuggle a kid, they can’t be bothered, but when I get really moving and ready to get things done, all they want is for me to sit still and snuggle?
Grrr.

cats are the same…
And husbands … husbands are like that too…
Personally I think it’s something to do with the moving around and being visible. You’ve been in the background all that time while they’re preoccupied with something else. You go do something else, they lose their preoccupation for a moment, suddenly they notice you, and it’s “OH! I want some attention and cuddling!”
Heck, _I’M_ like that half the time. Just recovered from a week-long spinal tap headache, during which all I could do was lie horizontal and stare at the ceiling… made me long to be up and about, when before I got the headache, I wanted to lie down and rest for a day.
I’m a cat. When I’m out, I want to be in… when I’m in, I want to be out…
