I have not changed anything in our storefront for months. I was braced for hours of frustration trying to figure out how to input new products. There was no frustration at all. In fact I figured out how to add the option so that people can pick a character for their sketched edition. We’re also considering adding an option for “special handling” so that people who want their books to arrive in pristine condition will be able to have that.
Yay! It’s working!
*twitch*
I can pick a character?
I believe you have made me the happiest person ever. For those that buy more than one sketch edition, will we be able to pick multiple characters, or is it a “pick one, it goes in both” type of thing?
Really, you have done a wonderful thing for us this day. Not so much for Howard’s wrist, but the fans will be very, very happy.
You’re doing the foreword, right? I mean, you should be…
She provided one of the text bits, yes.
If you buy more than one sketch edition, you’ll be able to pick a different character for each. Including the “Surprise me” option, which will probably only be surprising if people who pick it never compare notes. If there are more than 10 of those, I’m going to start recycling surprises.
Oh, and we’re not limiting the number of sketch editions to one-per-customer. I’ll be drawing forever, yes, but we kind of need the money right now.
So you will both curse and thank me when I order 3 (Well, maybe three… two is a given, it would have been 2 sketch for the first two, had I been able).
And “yay” for sandra-foreword!!!
I didn’t really write the foreward. My words are on page 82. Maybe I’ll hijack the intro for the next book.
You can pick a character from the list we’ve provided. There are a dozen major characters on that list.
Is it hijacking if people demand you do it? 🙂
And if you have trouble with the layout stuff, I could either force myself to learn the stuff, or snag a friend who’s in some computer art thingy at college…
I know *I* would work cheap… 😉
